He wants Mike to try out for football to. Would more letter be sent?
Connections
I remember when I wanted to join the soccer team at my school but my mom kept saying no because one time I was playing soccer with my friends and I broke my ankle. She was worried that I would get hurt again. I kept begging and begging until she let me join. It was just like Mike trying to join the football team but her mom said no.
Your connection is not quite strong enough. You need to really think about the book, and the major ideas and themes that the author wants to get across. Is the major idea about his football injury? Try to think a bit deeper.
